Hospitalizations take downward spiral since Friday, though 17 additional COVID-19 fatalities reported

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health has announced an additional 327 positive cases of COVID-19 and 17 additional fatalities on Saturday.
A small piece of good news is, hospitalizations have decreased since Friday.
Currently, 316 people are hospitalized, compared to the 352 reported on Friday.
80 of the people hospitalized are currently being treated in the ICU and 54 of them are on a ventilator.
There have been 9,298 positive cases of COVID-19 in Rhode Island, and 296 total COVID-19 related fatalities since the outbreak of the virus.
