Hot, Humid Weather Ahead!
What a beautiful start to the week! Hopefully you’ve enjoyed it, because the pattern becomes more unsettled as we move throughout the week.
Overnight, clouds increase and showers pop in and out of the area after midnight/early Tuesday morning. We could also have some dense, patchy fog around overnight and early in the morning, so be careful behind the wheel! Low temperatures will be on either side of 60 degrees.
Tomorrow stays mostly cloudy with a few showers scattered throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid/upper 60s for the coast, and upper 60s to low 70s inland. Wednesday we start the day with showers and even a rumble of thunder possible early in the morning as a warm front moves through Southern New England. We’ll have a few spotty showers later Wednesday and early Thursday, but we’re watching for a cold front coming through Thursday evening that could bring us a few more showers and even a thunderstorm.
Otherwise, Wednesday is warmer (highs in the mid to upper 7os) and humidity will increase throughout the day. Thursday is an absolute scorcher, with highs in the mid to upper 80s and high humidity. It will feel like the low 90s before the front arrives.
