House fire in Barrington likely caused by lightning strike, officials say

BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Barrington Fire Department said a house fire early Monday morning was likely caused by a lightning strike.

The fire happened just after 4 a.m. on Harrison Avenue.

According to the fire department, the family of that home will be displaced for a few days because of water damage.
