Humidity remains high with showers Friday morning, better chance Saturday
And then a heat wave sets up beginning Sunday
We saw a bit of relief Thursday as it was less humid and also breezy. The south wind will continue into Friday, as well some elevated surf and rip currents at the beaches as a result.
Scattered showers will move through on Friday morning, with a mostly sunny sky in the afternoon. Humidity remains high in the mid-80s.
Saturday will have the highest chance of showers and thunderstorms. Tropical downpours are possible, which could lead to brief localized flooding.
Sunshine returns for Sunday, but so do highs near 90. The humidity will drop a bit though, so Sunday won’t feel uncomfortable. A great beach day for sure!
The mugginess does return for Monday and Tuesday and there’s a very good chance we will have a heat advisory, as it will feel like 95-100!
