Hundreds of nails found on Falmouth roads

FALMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) – Hundreds of nails were found on roads and in driveways in Falmouth this morning.

Overnight a Falmouth Police officer patrolling John Parker Road found nails lining the street on John Parker Road. The nails were left in an upward position ready to pierce tires driving down the street.

Police and DPW collected a total of 478 nails.

Officers checked the area and found more nails on Clark Street, Old Barnstable Road and Prince Henry Drive. They add that some of the nails were found positioned under car tires in driveways. A total of 478 nails were collected.

Falmouth Police is asking if anyone has information of camera footage in the area to contact them.
