Hung jury, mistrial in Karen Read trial

DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — There has been a hung jury in the murder trial of Karen Read, leading to the declaration of a mistrial by Judge Beverly Cannone.

The Norfolk County District Attorney announced Monday that the Commonwealth plans to re-try the case.

The jury had been in deliberations since last week.
