I-195 backup in New Bedford due to rollover

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said that Interstate 195 East in New Bedford was shut down for some time near Exit 24B due to a rollover crash Thursday night.

Police said the crash involved a rack-body truck carrying cylinders meant to store pressurized gas, which rolled over.

There were also injuries reported.

Drivers were diverted to Route 140, and Route 140 to I-195 North was also shut down.
