I-95 North shut down after tractor-trailer rollover in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Interstate 95 North was shut down after a crash involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, a crash involving multiple vehicle occurred around 1:30 p.m. on the highway near Exit 24A.

RIDOT camera footage showed an overturned tractor trailer blocking the highway.

Around 1:50 p.m., all lanes on I-95 North were closed after Exit 21 in East Greenwich.

Rhode Island State Police said all lanes reopened just before 5 p.m.
