‘I placed myself in the shoes of the person that was before me;’ Caprio reflects on life, career in new book
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Retired Judge Frank Caprio joined ABC 6 in studio Thursday to discuss his new book “Compassion in the Court.”
Judge Caprio spoke to John DeLuca about his career on the bench, his family, and his battle with pancreatic cancer.
He said he believes his message of compassion has resonated around the world.
“It’s a very simple message,” Caprio said. “We should treat people with understanding and dignity and respect, because that’s how we want to be treated.”
Caprio will sign copies of his new book at Barrington Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m.
