ICE agents involved in crash in Providence, police say

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Federal immigration agents were involved in a crash on Chalkstone Avenue Tuesday, according to a Providence police spokesperson.
Providence police responded to a report of an accident involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and a civilian vehicle around 12:45 p.m., the spokesperson said.

A utility pole was hit and brought down because of the crash.
Chalkstone Avenue at Raymond Street was blocked with police tape for the investigation.
Police did not provide any information on any injuries as of the publication of this article.
A spokesperson for ICE has not responded to a request for comment as of the publication of this article.
