ICE arrests alleged MS-13 member with multiple fentanyl-trafficking charges in RI

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — ICE agents said they’ve arrested a self-admitted MS-13 gang member in Providence.

ICE identified the man as Ivan Rene Mendoza-Meza.

They said he had three prior charges for fentanyl trafficking in Rhode Island.

ICE said that Mendoza-Meza is from Honduras.

He is now facing removal from the U.S.
