Illegal gambling case moves forward against former North Providence finance director

The Rhode Island Attorney General’s office is moving forward with a case against the former finance director in North Providence.

38-year-old Justin Cambio is accused of messing with the chips on a poker table at Twin River in 2015.

Prosecutors say he illegally added more money to a bet in order to increase the payout.

We’re told surveillance video caught that on camera.

Cambio was set to be arraigned Tuesday, but the judge granted his lawyer’s request to delay that until next month.
