India Street exit in Providence to close July 2
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Exit 1A (India Street) off of I-195 East in Providence will be closed Tuesday, July 2 to accommodate 4th of July celebrations.
The rain day will be July 3 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Message boards will be placed in the area to inform drivers prior to the exit’s closure.
Drivers are encouraged to follow the signed detours using exit 1D (Route 103/Warren Avenue).
RIDOT staff and Rhode Island State Police troopers will be on site during the closure.
