Investigation launched after violent police arrest video surfaces

A Woonsocket arrest captured on cell phone video this past weekend now going viral. The man seen thrown to the ground by police in the video, 19-year-old Teil Densmore, is now claiming police brutality. He says he got dragged into this mess on Saturday trying to tell police they were arresting the wrong man.
"I just kept on saying, wrong guy, wrong guy. And, I moved in to say it one last time and he grabbed me,” said Densmore. “I don’t remember after that.”
What Densmore says he doesn’t remember was captured on film.
"On the video, he shook me. Then, I did a cartwheel never knew I could do that. Then he hit me three times. One time on the head, then two lefts hooks or right hooks,” said Densmore.
From there, the video appears to show police kicking him on the ground.
Densmore was charged with obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He says he wants to see those charges dropped and the officers held accountable.
"I’m hoping that justice will get served," said Densmore.
