Italo-American Club liquor license restored with conditions

Italian American Club

WARREN, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation has restored the liquor license at the Italo-American Club, with some new rules.

The club can now only serve alcohol between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to the conditional stay. Additionally, the club must provide the town a contact person to ensure alcohol is not being served outside those hours.

The club must also provide a written safety plan to the town.

The Warren Town Council voted unanimously earlier this month to revoke the license after the shooting death of Asst. Chief Brian Remy.
