Jackpot reaches $700 million for Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – For those who have been holding out on buying a Powerball ticket, Wednesday may be the day to play.

The jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing has grown to $700 million.

No one matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing.

There have been 21 straight drawings with no winner.

This is now the second highest jackpot in U.S. history.
