Jamestown resident completes 19 mile swim for for charity
JAMESTOWN, R.I. (AP) — Jamestown resident Ben Tuff has completed his 19 mile swim from Block Island to Jamestown to raise money for a nonprofit that works to keep oceans clean.
Ben completed the more than 11 hour journey Sunday morning.
Two boats and a paddle boarder trailed him during the swim.
ABC6 reporter Hector Molina spoke with Ben Sunday night following his swim.
Ben has a goal of raising $100,000 in donations.
