Jamestown Police say body washed ashore at beach

JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Jamestown Police Department said that a body washed ashore near Heads Beach on Sunday.

The body was spotted by a swimmer at 7:30 a.m.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body and an investigation is underway.
