Jewelry store loses at least $10,000 in Saturday night robbery, police investigating

FRANKLIN, Mass. (WLNE)- A jewelry store in Franklin is out at least $10,000 after it was robbed late on Saturday night, Franklin police are investigating.

Officers responded to Vallee Jewelers on Main Street at about 10:15 p.m.

When investigators arrived on the scene they saw that the front door was smashed and quickly requested back up.

No suspects were found on the scene, but there was damage to several display cases in the store.

Initial estimates value the store’s losses at over $10,000, according to police.

The department has released a video from the store’s surveillance system.
