Johnston man faces drug, gun charges after traffic stop

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A Johnston man is facing felony drug and gun charges after a traffic stop last week.
Police said 50-year-old Michael Lovenbury was pulled over in Johnston on Wednesday.
Officers reported that they found several baggies of cocaine and a loaded gun.
Lovenbury is facing several felony charges including possession of a firearm in a crime of violence and possession of a narcotic with intent to deliver.
He was presented as a bail violator at his arraignment in connection to a previous arrest.
