Johnston Police looking to identify man suspected of stealing over $10,000 worth of glasses
JOHNSTON, RI (WLNE) – Police are searching for a man they suspect of stealing more than $10,000 worth of eyeglasses.
Johnston Police say they arrived to OPTX Rhode Island on Hartford Avenue just prior to the theft around 3:45 p.m. on May 15.
Witnesses describe the man as a tall, skinny, black male in his early 20s. The man also had short dark brown hair and appeared to have a beard which covered by a surgical mask, according to police.
Through surveillance footage, police noticed the suspect flee the area in a newer model silver GMC Terrain with unknown registration.
