Update: Missing Johnston teenager located

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Johnston police have canceled the alert for a 16-year-old resident  who had been missing since Saturday night.

The teen was found safe, according to a post on the Johnston Police Department’s Facebook Page.

A police statement cancelled the alert Monday afternoon.  The department thanked the public for their assistance in locating the teen.
