Judge Caprio asks for hats amid hair loss during cancer battle

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Amid his cancer battle Judge Caprio posted a video asking for people to send him hats to try on.

“When I lost my hair, in one interview I had a hat on and I indicated I’ve never worn a hat, but now, because my head gets cold, I have to wear a hat,” Caprio said. “As a result of that I’ve received hats from all over.”

Caprio said that he wants people to send him hats and he will try them on.

“Your support just bolsters me and gives me a very warm feeling for my head and for my heart as well,” he said.

Caprio was sent a hat alongside a care package from pancreatic cancer non-profit Project Purple last week.
