JWU students accused of sexual assault cleared of charges

Three Johnson & Wales students that were arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a fellow classmate have been cleared of all charges.

On Monday, the Providence County Grand Jury returned a no true bill against 20-year-old Mohammed Aljohani, of Providence, 20-year-old Mohammed Alsaqer, of Pawtucket, and 22-year-old Tareq Alharbi, of Providence.

The three had been previously charged in October 2015 with one count of first degree sexual assault after an investigation by Pawtucket Police.

A fourth suspect, 23-year-old Yazeed Alasiri, was charged with one count of second degree sexual assault and released on bail. The Office of Attorney General filed a no information in the matter of Alasiri.
