Karen Read retrial testimony postponed due to a health issue

DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Testimony is postponed Tuesday in the Karen Read murder retrial.

According to our Boston affiliate, WCVB, a court clerk said the trial was moved due to a health issue.

WCVB reports that Massachusetts state police troopers were in position and waiting for the arrival of attorneys and witnesses for the usual 9 a.m. start.

A closed door hearing was held about scheduling.

The prosecutors were in person with Judge Beverly Cannone, and the defense team appeared virtually.
