Karen Read’s Mansfield home for sale

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — The home of Karen Read is now for sale.

Read, who was tried for the murder of her police officer boyfriend John O’Keefe, was a former professor from Bentley College and was living in Mansfield at the time of O’Keefe’s death.

Read’s trial ended up in a mistrial, as the jury could not make a decision if Read was guilty or not guilty.

The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office has since announced that they plans to re-try Karen Read’s murder case.

Her Mansfield home on Gilbert Street is now for sale, listed for $849,900.

The home is four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and is over 2,000 square feet.

The drive is just about eight minutes from Mansfield Crossing, which is shopping plaza in town.

“Mansfield is situated 30 miles from Boston and offers a suburban charm with tree-lined streets, great schools, multiple sports complexes, and a quiet atmosphere appealing to most families and those seeking a peaceful living environment,” states the Zillow posting.

“This spacious home is perfect for hosting large family gatherings,” it continues.
