Kenny Chesney to play 3-night show at Gillette Stadium next summer

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Country artist Kenny Chesney will play a three-night show at Gillette Stadium next summer.
The singer added a third show in Foxborough to mark the end of his “Sun Goes Down” tour.
“Here I only put one show up, thinking maybe this was the year,” Chesney said of Gillette. “Now here we are doing something we’ve never done: a third show at the home of the Patriots! There has always been something special about New England, this music and how we all come together. I can’t wait to spend an entire weekend in one place with all of No Shoes Nation.”
He will perform on Friday, Aug. 23, Saturday, Aug. 24, and Sunday, Aug. 25.

Chesney has made it a tradition to close his tours at the venue.
Concert officials said the added shows were to keep up with the demand of country fans in New England.
Chesney’s tour will feature Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney, and Uncle Kracker.
Tickets for all three shows will go on sale Friday.
