Kent Hospital loosens restrictions on visitation, end of life visitation allowed

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – In a release sent by Care New England on Tuesday, Kent Hospital will be adjusting its visitor policies.
Visting hours at the hospital have been extended from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon and 4:00-6:00 p.m.
There will be a screening process in place.
Visitation is also now allowed in the ICU.
Care New England said routine visitation with COVID patients is not allowed but end-of-life visitation is.
Birth partners are allowed in the building at all times, including a designated doula.
Exceptions can be made to visitations in collaboration with the nursing leadership team.
