Kitten with rare muscle deformity finds forever home in Massachusetts

BOSTON (WLNE) — A kitten with a rare muscle deformity on both back legs has found his forever home.
The MSPCA-Angell said on social media Wednesday that the special kitten, Gumby, has a new home on the North Shore with animal advocate and radio personality Danielle Murr.
Gumby will soon have cat, dog, and hamster siblings.
He was originally from Texas. The MSPCA-Angell staff said they’ve never seen a cat quite like Gumby.
Both of his back legs are severely deformed, with muscle contracture that limits his joint mobility.
Despite his deformity, Gumby is as active and mischievous as any kitten.
The MSPCA-Angell said it was looking for adopters who are willing to take on his unique needs and any challenges that may come his way.
