Lakeville armed bank robbery suspect arrested in New York

The suspect in an armed bank robbery in Lakeville last month has been arrested.

23-year-old Jameil Hodge of Boston was arrested in Yonkers, NY by FBI agents out of New York and Boston on an outstanding warrant from Lakeville Police.

He’s charged in the May 16 armed robbery of Bridgewater Savings Bank in Lakeville.

Police say he held a gun to the teller’s head, demanding money, while sucking on a lollipop.

At one point, police say he put that woman in a choke-hold.

He’s facing multiple charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, kidnapping, and carrying a firearm without a license.
