Lakeville officer involved car crash

LAKEVILLE (Mass.): A Lakeville Police officer was hospitalized after a car crash early Saturday morning, according to the Lakeville Police Department.
The Lakeville Police officers were investigating an attempted breaking and entering on Clear Pond Road. An officer was getting into his police car, when another car struck the officer and his car.
The officer was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton where he was treated and released.
The driver was identified as Hannah Rink, 21, from Middleboro.
Rink was arrested and charged with:
- Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol
- Operating to Endanger
- Impeded Operation
- Speeding
Rink will be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Monday.
