Lane reduction set for ‘structurally deficient’ Eddy Street Bridge in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Starting Monday RIDOT will reduce traffic to one lane on the Eddy Street Bridge in Providence.

That’s the bridge that carries Eddy Street over I-95.

RIDOT crews will put an alternating traffic pattern north and southbound indefinitely.

This comes after the Eddy Street Bridge was deemed structurally deficient.
