Large bear spotted in Hope Valley backyard
HOPKINTON, R.I. (WLNE) — On Monday, the Hopkinton Police Department shared photos of a large bear in the backyard of a Hope Valley resident.
Photos dated from November, 19 show a large black bear in a resident’s yard that’s trying to get into their bird feeder.
Police said while there’s no need to report bear sightings, residents should use them as a reminder of the wildlife in the area.
