Multiple fire departments respond to large fire in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Multiple fire companies responded to a large fire at a supply company in Pawtucket.

The Pawtucket, Central Falls, and North Providence Fire Departments battled the fire at the ABC Supply Co. on Beverage Hill Avenue.

Officials said the fire started in the back of the building and the supply materials made the fire burn hotter than expected.

They added that firefighters expect to be on the scene for some time.

ABC 6 News crews on the scene could see smoke rising from the area.
