LaSalle Beats Barrington, Hendricken Holds Off EP In Boys Volleyball

The LaSalle Rams roll past Barrington today in the Division 1 boy’s volleyball season opener.
Lasalle got past the Eagles thanks to Cal Butler (five aces, seven kills) and Luis Vasquez (four kills). The Rams win 3 sets to 0. With scores of 25-7, 25-8, 25-8.
Shortly down the road in East Providence the Townies played host to the Hendricken Hawks.
Kyle Murphy notched 11 kills and 3 blocks; while Anthony Witherstone had 10 kills 12 digs to edge the Hawks past East Providence to a 3-1 win. Brett Dailey had 10 kills and 11 digs for the Townies as they made it as entertaining as they could tonight against the Hawks.
