LaSalle Holds Off Smithfield, Hendricken Downs Classical to Advance to State Title Game

The defending state champion LaSalle Rams had to rally to beat Smithfield, 55 to 51 in a semifinal game at the Ryan Center.  Mike McCourt scored a game high 16-points.

The Rams will face Hendricken for the state title.  The Hawks downed Classical, 62 to 46, avenging a loss to the Purple in the D-1 title game two weeks ago.

Kyle Henseler scored a game high 24-points for the Hawks.  

Hendricken faces LaSalle for the boys state title at 6:00 pm on Sunday.
