Last Minute Campaigning as Candidates for Governor Vote

Providence Mayor Angel Taveras was joined at the polls by his wife and daughter, and hoped that voters would make him the Democratic nominee for Governor.
“I’m excited about this and I ‘m excited about my daughter being able to share this moment with her dad and wither her mom, so pretty special day. So I feel pretty good,” said Providence Mayor Angel Taveras, (D) Candidate for Rhode Island Governor.
Fellow Democrat Clay Pell and his wife Michelle Kwan were also casting ballots in a Governor’s race where he hopes to change the state’s political tone.
“The broken politics that we’ve had. People are just sick and tired of all the negative attacks. They want someone who is focused on fixing the problem of the state and that’s the way I’ve run my campaign,” said Clay Pell, (D) Candidate for Rhode Island Governor.
State Treasurer Gina Raimondo was joined by her husband Andy and their two kids, echoing the sentiments expressed the day she kicked off her campaign for Governor.

As for the Republicans, Mayor Allan Fung voted in
