Hands filled with shopping bags is a situation shopper, Jim Sullivan, finds himself in every Christmas Eve. Sullivan says the reasoning behind it is not because he put it off until now, but says that through years of experience, it seems waiting until the 11th hour pays off.
"I wait until the morning of Christmas Eve when nobody is here and get all of the deals, 75% off, all that good stuff. So, I can get most of it done," says Sullivan.
Other shoppers just simply haven’t had time up until now.
"We are so busy doing things for other people during the holidays that we save our stuff for the last minute," says shopper Jenny Jacobs.
"I always say I’m going to do it early and I always do it last minute," adds shopper Dylan Ellinwood.
Whether it’s procrastination or trying to get the best deal that brought shoppers to the mall, all people that spoke with ABC6 agreed men are the notorious last minute shoppers are.
