Legislation to ban Powdered Alcohol approved

PROVIDENCE, RI_ Yesterday, The Rhode Island Senate approved the legislation to prohibit and ban the use and sale of powdered alcohol in the state.
Legislation, 2015-S 0175aa, will ban the use, purchase or sale of “Palcohol.” All violators could possibly be subject to a fine of up to $1,000.
Palcohol is molecularly alcohol in a capsule, when mixed with water, it produces an alcoholic beverage.
Other states including: South Carolina, Vermont, and Louisiana have banned the substance. Over twelve dozen states are in the process.
Palcohol is expected to reach shelves this summer.
