Leominster man sentenced for 2018 manslaughter crash

WORCESTER, Mass. (WLNE) – A Leominster man was sentenced to 10 to 12 years in prison on Monday after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
Gregory McNally, 37, killed Emilia Ortiz, 35, in 2018 when he crashed their car into two trees and a fire hydrant.
The Worcester District Attorney’s Office said Ortiz had said she wanted to end her relationship with McNally, who then accelerated his car to 86 mph and crashed.
McNally’s sentence follows a ten-month investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
