Less sun Tuesday and a few snow showers east; weekend looking ‘super’

Most of the action will be out over coastal Massachusetts, but a few flurries could make it as far west as Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Mostly clear skies out there this evening as temperatures fall back through the 30s.

Clouds will increase to the east, with ocean-effect showers moving in as well into tomorrow for southeast Massachusetts.

This could lead to slick roads and even a quick coating of snow for places like Plymouth and Cape Cod.

Most of our area should stay dry through the next several days.

We also have a warmup in store for the end of the week.

Temperatures will reach the 40s on Thursday, and then will hover around 50 degrees Friday-Sunday!

Looking ahead to next week, rain may return on Monday.
