Lifespan and Brown University to make ‘major announcement’ this morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Lifespan and Brown University are joining together for announcement today.

Lifespan President and CEO John Fernandez will be joined by Brown President Christina Paxson along with medical officials for an announcement at 9 a.m. that they say will “strengthen top-quality patient care, medical education and biomedical research” in the state.

The announcement will happen at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
