Light snow overnight could cause a slippery commute Wednesday AM
Snow has arrives… well, sort of. The radar is showing snow, but has yet to reach the ground as of 11 p.m.
The air in place is incredibly dry, with dew points as low a s 0° across the area!
Eventually the snow will overcome it, and accumulations of around an inch are expected. Snow ends around 4-6am from west to east.
This could still cause for a slippery commute on untreated roads. By sun up, skies will clear and it will be a beautifully sunny morning for all. But we aren’t done with precip just yet.
The back edge of the clipper (a cold front) will bring quick rain and snow showers during the afternoon. Then, things will start to turn much colder and windier again.
Thursday morning wind chills will be between 0-5°. Daytime highs will top out around 30°, but it will feel more like 15-20° with the wind.
A warmer day is in store for Friday, but so is rain. Highs will range from 40-45°. The weekend looks mostly dry, with sunny skies Saturday and mostly cloudy skies Sunday.
