Lincoln home deemed a total loss after early-morning fire
LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — A house in Lincoln is a total loss after an early-morning fire on Monday.
Fire officials said a heavy fire broke out at the back of a home on Great Road just before 2 a.m. and extended to the front.
ABC 6 News crew on scene saw flames and smoke billowing from the house.
The massive fire prompted crews from many surrounding agencies to assist Lincoln firefighters. Several firefighters had minor injuries but none required medical attention.
Fire officials said no one was home at the time.
The house was deemed a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
