Local woman’s book to become movie

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Rhode Islander’s memoir is in the early stages of becoming a film.

Producers have been scouting locations in the Ocean State for the adaptation of Stacey Caputi Liakos memoir, “Stray Love: My Lessons of Love, Life, and Loss.”

Liakos visited East Providence alongside Director Michael Blevins, actor/producer Bruce Busta Soscia, and Mayor Bob DaSilva to speak about the movie.
