Locals fighting, or embracing, the heat on first 90 degree day of 2025

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — It’s a hot one out there today, folks!

Many areas in the region are pushing 90 degrees for the first time this year.

With these high temperatures, ABC6 asked some locals how they’re planning to deal with the heat today.

While some search for the air conditioner, most are planning to spend the day outside.
