Longtime radio host let go from 92 PRO-FM

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Longtime WPRO-FM host Kim Zandy was let go from the station Friday.

In a social media post, Zandy said that the station had decided to go in a “different direction” with her position.

Zandy was at the station for 24 years and hosted the Giovanni and Kim morning show.

“For those of you who have been listeners of the show I can’t tell you how grateful I have always been for you,” Zandy said. “You guys have been fun, encouraging, generous, and so much more. Thank you for all of it!”
