Loved ones to remember Brockton firefighter who suffered cardiac arrest on call

BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Services will be held for a Brockton firefighter who died last week.
Firefighter Jeffrey Albanese died at on Dec. 21 at Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston after an extended stay in the hospital due to suffering cardiac arrest while on a call on Dec. 9.
Albanese joined the department on Sept. 11, 2000, and served on Ladder Company 1 and as senior man on Engine Company 4.
He was also a union director, and leaves behind a wife and two children.
The wake will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, with a uniformed walk-through starting at 3:15 p.m.
His funeral will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m.
