Lovely end to August, but some rain drops to begin September

What a difference between yesterday and today! After an afternoon of 90s on Wednesday, temperatures barely got out of the 70s in a few spots Thursday afternoon.

Tonight will feature clear skies and light winds, and that will allow for a bit of a chill! “Radiational cooling” is the official term, and it will mean lows down around 50°.

Another great day coming up for Friday, very similar to today. A few clouds Friday night but Saturday looks like an okay start to the weekend.

Expect partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s. It will be turning a bit muggy as a cold front approaches. This could bring a shower by the evening.

Rain chances will then increase overnight and wet weather is possible into Sunday; right now, a bit more likely in the morning and may be hit or miss.

We then see improvements late in the day and setting Labor Day up to be superb – mostly sunny and less humid, with highs in the upper 70s!
