Chepachet’s Jared Donaldson rallied from a two-set deficit to force a fifth set, but #16 Lucas Pouille is able to hold off the Rhode Islander in the second round of the U.S. Open, winning 7–5, 6–4, 4–6, 3–6, 6–4. The loss ends this year’s run for the 51st-ranked Donaldson at Flushing Meadows.
